I think the title pretty much describes the events over the past 12 hours. :) So yes, I decided to give the girls their first baths yesterday evening because not only did they need them, but I wanted them to smell good on their way to the vets office this morning. They hated every moment of bathtime; you would have thought I was killing them. They were not happy campers! So in order to try and make this a better experience for them, I gave them a little snack afterward (tiny tiny piece of one). They were dry in no time and off playing just as they were before. I had to be at work early today, so Arthur was in charge of getting them to the vet. Arthur calls me to tell me that they had poo all over themselves when he arrived at the vet's office. Oopsies! The vet technicians were so kind to give them a little bath (really they just gave them a spot cleaning), so it looks as though I'll be giving the little boogers another good bath later on today. Lovely! At least it didn't happen to me, haha. Poor Arthur, but I can't help but laugh at the situation. Note to self: Don't give the pups treats (no matter how small the portion) and/or let them nibble on Chloe's dog food right before a vet visit.

6 & 7 Week Old Pictures
I've been such a slacker lately posting updated photos. I guess with in all the craziness of the holidays, I haven't found much time to post anything. Sorry! :) Well, here they are, our babies at ages 6-7 weeks. The first several are Marina, followed by Mallory, and then a few shots of the girls together.

Four Weeks Old
Yesterday Mallory and Marina turned 4 weeks old. I decided to jazz it up a bit, and add some Christmas to the pictures. :) Here they are- babies in a sleigh (the cutest babies you've ever seen).
I love this picture because of the look on Mallory's face. She was serious about chewing the crap out of that sleigh (too bad she doesn't have any teeth yet). LOL

Videos (3-4 weeks old)
The girls starting playing with eachother a little bit before they turned 3 weeks old. Here in this video they're about 3 1/2 weeks of age. I love watching them play, it's so much more entertaining than TV. ;)
And I thought it was time for them to try some "real" food. Here they are, gobbling it all up. They LOVED it! That's my girls!
And I thought this was just too cute not to post. These are their first toys! I love how they just fell asleep on them- that's how much they loved them. I just can't get enough of their cuteness!
And here is Mallory, one unhappy baby. I've determined that when they start crying, they're usually just tired. Just like babies get fussy when they need a nap, so do puppies apparently. Mallory had been out for a while; Marina was actually asleep near me. That's the major difference I've noticed so far- that Mallory is very much the outgoing little explorer and Marina is a very content just chillaxin', a very lovable cuddle baby. More lately, Marina is out running around like her little sister (she cries when she wanders too far away, lol), but for the longest time she just wanted to cuddle with me. And what's really cute is that when they get tired, they always come back and find me. They love to sleep in my arms or snuggled up against me- I LOVE them so much! This is going to be hard to let them go. BTW, please excuse the mess. :)

Three Weeks Old!
Mallory and Marina turned 3 weeks old on Monday, and what a difference a week makes! These girls started walking, running (very clumsily still, lol), playing, and barking just in a matter of days. Crazy! They're growing so fast, too fast. Speaking of fast, the older these girls get, the harder it is to take pictures of them- they're all over the place. Hence the delay on posting these particular photos. Sorry. But here they are now- Mallory (the first set of 3) and Marina (the last set three). Let me tell you a little about their personalities as I'm just now really getting to know them individually. Marina, though very playful at times, is definitely more of a cuddlebug. She's a sweetie, more mellow than her sister, and I love her so much. She's not nearly as vocal as Mallory is, but she whines when she sees fit. ;) Mallory is a little spitfire! She acts all big and tough, and really seems to enjoy exercising her newly discovered vocal cords. She's always ready to play and makes the cutest little growly puppy noises. She's always on the move, that one. Again, they've changed so much, it's just unbelievable. I wish time would just slow down, just a little bit. They will be gone all too soon, my sweet girls, and I will miss them so much.

One Week Old
Our little girls have finally hit the one week mark, so I hurried and took a few pictures this morning. They weren't cooperating very well, so I may be re-taking these photos later on today, lol. But for now, here they are at exactly one week old.
MALLORY
This is little Mallory. She was born at just under 5 oz. at birth, but now weighing in at a whopping 7 5/8 oz. That's my girl!
